Position: Sous Chef – Overland Park Convention Center

About: Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Sous Chef to develop and execute culinary solutions to meet production, presentation, and service standards, offering an annual revenue of $14.3 million.

Requirements: Culinary degree preferred or at least 3 years of related experience in a management role required; Pastry or dessert experience preferred; Previous experience in special events, hospitality, or catering required; Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Comfortable working in a collaborative team dynamic; Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs; Availability to work event-based hours including evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays
