Position: Sous Chef- Marketplace Cafe- Scottsdale Marketplace Cafe
About: As a chef at Nordstrom, you will play a dual role – part kitchen genius, part artist. Your responsibilities will include leading the kitchen crew, preparing recipes and weekly specials, training and developing staff, and ensuring the kitchen is up to standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in full-service, upscale restaurant management, a passion for quality food and customer service, strong communication and basic accounting skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and necessary food handling certifications.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in full-service, upscale restaurant management; passion and knowledge about quality food and customer service; solid written and verbal communication skills, basic accounting skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule; food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
