Position: Sous Chef – Manager

About: Macaroni Grill, part of HMSHost at Chicago O’Hare International Airport in Terminal 3, Concourse K, Gate K02, is currently seeking a Sous Chef to join their team. This position involves overseeing a kitchen with challenging operations, managing food production processes, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food preparation.

Requirements: Requires a High School diploma or general education development (GED) diploma; post-secondary culinary training preferred; brand certification a plus. 3 to 5 years of experience with kitchen operations and staff supervision. Must be certified in Serve Safe Management certification course. Demonstrates team management, delegation, issue resolution, coaching skills, and ability to motivate others. Shows organization and multi-project time/issue management. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with individuals.
