Position: Sous Chef – La Societe
About: Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA is seeking a Sous Chef – La Societe to ensure the kitchen produces high-quality meals in terms of taste, presentation, and cost control. The hotel is located in the South of Market district, offering a blend of chic design and exceptional service for guests visiting the vibrant San Francisco area.
Requirements: At least 4 years of progressive experience or a culinary graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field; knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department regulations, and liquor laws; ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently; excellent communication and multitasking skills; warm, friendly, and service-oriented demeanor; proficiency in French culinary skills/techniques is a plus
