Position: Sous Chef job
About: Sunrise Senior Living, a certified Great Place to Work, is seeking a Sous Chef to join Quincy Place in providing leadership and management for food production and presentation operations. This role involves overseeing dining services, financial management, and coaching team members to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Requirements: Certification and/or College Degree in Culinary Arts preferred; Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager; Two (2) years supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline, and counseling; Maintains current Food Services Sanitation certificate; ServeSafe certified; Ability to handle multiple priorities; Ability to delegate assignments effectively; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in organizational and time management skills; Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Sunrise applications
