Position: Sous Chef job
About: Highgate at Vancouver is a community dedicated to senior care, providing a positive and holistic approach that emphasizes independence and well-being. With a focus on physical activity, social engagement, and personalized care, we strive to create a familial environment for over 700 seniors and their families. We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team in delivering a nourishing culinary experience for our residents in an assisted living and memory care setting.
Requirements: At least 21 years of age; a combination of education and experience supporting Sous Chef status; current negative TB test; knowledgeable in various regulatory standards for the kitchen; willingness to work in a healthcare/assisted living environment; ServeSafe certified or able to obtain within 60 days of hire; ability to pass a criminal record/background check; good time management skills; ability to work well independently with little oversight
