Position: Sous Chef job
About: The Original Ninfa’s Uptown in Houston, TX, known for its legendary Tex-Mex cuisine, is expanding its brand and seeking an experienced and energetic Sous Chef to join their team.
Requirements: Professional, accountable, respectful, and punctual; 2 years of leadership experience in a high-volume (>$5MM) full-service restaurant; 5-7 years of experience in high-volume kitchens; Previous experience with New Store Openings; Experienced in staff training and policy implementation; Understanding of inventory procedures, food cost, labor costs, and scheduling; Excellent organizational and communication skills; Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Aloha POS, and Hotschedules; Experience in daily restaurant opening and closing procedures; Food Manager’s certification; Ability to multitask with a positive attitude; Ability to work independently and within a team
