Position: Sous Chef job
About: A vibrant boutique hotel in Washington, D.C. is seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join their culinary team. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring exceptional dishes that reflect the hotel’s commitment to quality and creativity.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the culinary field, preferably in a hotel, boutique restaurant, or upscale dining environment; Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management; Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality; Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
