Position: Sous Chef job
About: Shula Burger, part of HMSHost at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join their team. This role involves overseeing a kitchen with challenging operations, managing food production processes, and supervising kitchen staff.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma required; post-secondary culinary training preferred; brand certification a plus; 3 to 5 years of experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision; Serve Safe Management certification required; strong team management, delegation, issue resolution, coaching, and motivation skills; excellent organization and time management abilities; proficient in communication and comprehension of instructions and documents
