Position: Sous Chef job
About: Bamboo Sushi is a purpose-driven restaurant offering an inspiring experience through food, service, and spirit. The position available is for a Sous Chef at Bamboo Sushi, University Village in Seattle, with growth opportunities in Seattle and Portland.
Requirements: 2 years of related culinary experience, working in a high-volume, full-service kitchen; 6 months of supervisor or management experience, leading a BOH team required; Sous Chef experience preferred; Sushi experience preferred, with knowledge of sushi products, fish breakdown, knife cuts, and production of rice, roles, and nigiri; Working knowledge and/or exposure to kitchen and service standards, procedures, and functions; Knowledge of kitchen management and profit and loss; Ability to lead and think critically, exercising independent judgment and discretion in day-to-day performance of job duties; Valid Food Handlers Card required
