Position: Sous Chef job
About: Firebirds, an upscale restaurant and FIREBAR located in Miami, is seeking dedicated Sous Chefs to collaborate with the Executive Chef in providing direction, training, and supervision to the back of house team. The Sous Chefs will oversee all back of house operations, including butchering, portion control, ordering, inventory, and staffing to ensure a high standard of food production and service excellence.
Requirements: 2 years high volume, full service restaurant experience in a management position; warm, passionate, and committed to the industry; excellent communication skills; ability to remain calm, cool, and collected under pressure; self-actualized and motivated; self-discipline; maintained professional appearance; butchering experience preferred; scratch kitchen experience preferred
