Position: Sous Chef job

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Culinary Arts degree or certification or a minimum of five years culinary experience at the Sous Chef level or equivalent; Previous experience in a culinary leadership role, ideally in a healthcare, senior living, or hospitality environment is preferred; Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation guidelines, and dietary restrictions; Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and train kitchen staff effectively; Ability to follow recipes and create delicious meals while managing time efficiently; Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies; Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods; Must be able to work around food and cleaning products; Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State/County law; Residency within the service area is required.
