Requirements: The Sous Chef should ideally have a graduate degree in the culinary arts; be proficient in basic and advanced cooking methods; have at least 3 years of experience in a high-volume professional kitchen; possess knowledge of food allergies, correct cooking temperatures, and state health codes; hold an active Food Handler’s certification or be willing to obtain one; demonstrate strong organizational and independent work skills; be physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting at least 50 pounds, and exceeding expectations.
