Position: Sous Chef job
About: In-house Cook (FT) position available with the Franciscan Friars Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Chicago, 60602. If you enjoy cooking in a private setting and can commit to a Tuesday – Saturday schedule with occasional half-day Sunday shifts, this unique role may be perfect for you. Join us in preparing meals that meet safety standards and expectations while supporting the friars’ requirements.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 5-7 years of cooking and kitchen experience preferred, with a focus on in-house meal preparation and catering; proficiency in kitchen equipment operation, cleaning, maintenance, and replacement; service-oriented with strong communication skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
