Position: Sous Chef job
About: Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is seeking a Sous Chef to join their team. The hotel is an architectural icon in the heart of Lower Manhattan, known for its diverse, inspiring, and vibrant environment where luxury meets genuine hospitality. The Sous Chef plays a crucial role in shaping the client experience and upholding the hotel’s reputation as a Forbes 5 Star Hotel, Forbes 5 Star Spa, and AAA 5 Diamond Hotel.
Requirements: College degree preferably in culinary arts, or equivalent experience required; three to five years’ previous experience in a culinary/food & beverage role, or one to two years in a supervisory/assistant manager position preferred; ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage systems; proficiency in English language; supervisory experience with 25 employees; no travel required; 40 hours minimum over a five-day period
