Position: Sous Chef job
About: Gibsons Restaurant Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within the restaurant, demonstrating top-notch cooking skills and leadership qualities. Responsibilities also include collaborating with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in menu creation, maintaining inventory, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards, and supervising food production to uphold quality standards. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment and uphold the company’s core values through exemplary conduct and communication.
Requirements: Must have one to three years of experience in a detail-orientated kitchen; at least 18 years of age; prior experience in Mediterranean cuisine is a plus; precise knife cuts and skills required; knowledgeable in culinary concepts, practices, and procedures; experienced in high-end cooking techniques; organized and able to work under pressure with good sanitation principles; positive attitude and passion for great food; culinary degree preferred; familiarity with working in a Bazaar location preferred.
