Position: Sous Chef job
About: Bender’s Tavern, located in downtown Canton, is an elegant establishment that has been serving fine food and wine since 1902. Renowned for its high-quality seafood sourced from Foley Fish in Boston and top-quality beef, Bender’s Tavern maintains a tradition of culinary classics and hospitality in a relaxing atmosphere.
Requirements: Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting; Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes; Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient sourcing; Leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team; Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively; Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining standards of excellence; Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is preferred but not required; Scheduled for a minimum of 44 hrs a week
