Position: Sous Chef job
About: As a leader in the senior care industry, Highgate Senior Living operates communities in the western US with a focus on assisted living and memory care. They strive to create a positive, holistic approach to senior care, promoting independence and a sense of community for over 700 seniors and their families. Currently, they are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join their team and contribute to providing a nourishing culinary experience for residents.
Requirements: At least 21 years of age; a combination of education and experience supporting Sous Chef status; current negative TB test; knowledge of, or quick ability to learn, various regulatory standards for the kitchen; willingness to work in a healthcare/assisted living environment; ServeSafe certified or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire; ability to pass a criminal record/background check; good time management skills; ability to work well independently with little oversight
