Position: Sous Chef job
About: DDC – Waddell, AZ (White Tanks at San Lucy) is looking for a Sous Chef to join their team. This position involves working under the direct supervision of various Restaurant Chefs and the Food Court Kitchen Manager, providing one-on-one training to line cooks, menu writing, costing, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with Arizona liquor laws and Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise alcohol training.
Requirements: High school degree or GED plus 2 years experience as a Sous Chef, or 5 years in a kitchen with 3 years of supervision experience; must be at least 18 years old with no felony convictions; ability to pass pre-employment screenings and obtain necessary certifications including Food Handlers card and TIPS certification; strong knowledge of food preparation methods, equipment operation, staff management, and outstanding guest service skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure; proficient in basic English communication and PC skills.
