Position: Sous Chef job
About: DDC – Glendale, AZ is seeking a Sous Chef for their team. The position involves working under direct supervision of the Restaurant Chef in various venues within the establishment, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations while overseeing kitchen operations and staff training. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge of Arizona liquor laws and adhere to internal controls set by the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE).
Requirements: High school degree or GED plus 2 years experience as a Sous Chef, or 5 years in a kitchen with 3 years of supervision experience; must be at least 18 years old; no felony convictions; ability to pass pre-employment screenings and obtain and maintain a gaming license; knowledge of food preparation methods and equipment operation; skill in staff management; ability to obtain necessary certifications and demonstrate exceptional guest service; proficiency in English communication; capacity to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
