Position: Sous Chef job
About: Under the direction of the executive chef, Parkview Health in the Dietetics/Food Service sector is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to supervise culinary operations in the cafeteria, patient cook line, prep kitchen, and dishwashing/sanitation area. This role involves collaborating with other sous chefs for scheduling, food production, quality control, and team management to uphold company values and contribute to revenue and profit growth. The Sous Chef will lead meal service with a focus on accuracy, presentation, and customer service excellence while ensuring efficiency and maintaining high standards.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent of a GED required; Associate’s degree in Management Hospitality or Culinary Arts preferred. ServSafe Certified or must obtain within 6 months from date of hire. Leadership experience in food service operations or hospitality environment preferred; minimum of two years culinary/kitchen or hospitality management preferred. Experience in healthcare is a plus. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
