About: SUSHISAMBA, a vibrant restaurant celebrating the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil, and Peru, is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join their dynamic team. The Sous Chef will report to the Senior Sous Chef, Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Corporate Chef, with responsibilities including managing the hot kitchen line and overseeing staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. The role may involve assisting with menu planning and ordering as needed.

Requirements: Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or formal apprenticeship program or equivalent; Valid Food Safety certification; 3 years minimum kitchen supervisor and/or management experience preferred; In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations; Strong understanding of purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and stock rotation; Ability to educate and demonstrate fundamental and advanced cooking skills
