Position: Sous Chef job
About: Ancho & Agave, a flavor-obsessed Mexican restaurant in Middleton, WI, is in search of a dedicated and reliable Sous Chef to contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Our focus is on quality ingredients, refreshing beverages, and a fun casual dining atmosphere that sets us apart in the industry.
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service, high-volume restaurant; Current Food Safety and Sanitation certification; Strong culinary skills including food preparation and cooking best practices; Working knowledge of restaurant industry operations, safety, and sanitation standards; Ability to lead a diverse team with strong leadership and communication skills; Exceptional hygiene and grooming habits; Reliable transportation; Availability to work varying shifts, weekends, evenings, holidays, and up to 55-hour work weeks
