Position: Sous Chef job

About: Norman Regional Health System is seeking a qualified individual to lead the daily operations of food production for Food and Nutrition Services, including menu planning, purchasing, ordering, inventory, and food preparation. This role involves overseeing the preparation, presentation, and safe storage of food, maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness, and providing guidance and training to production staff.

Requirements: Knowledge of nutrition and food service principles; personnel management expertise; familiarity with federal/state food service regulations; proficiency in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance; ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations; strong communication and customer relations skills; experience in employee scheduling, counseling, and evaluation.
