Position: Sous Chef job
About: Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences, a first-of-its-kind Five Star personalized luxury wellness community located in South East Florida, is seeking a Sous Chef to oversee the culinary operations for all banquet functions, weddings, conferences, and special events. The resort promotes mindful living with personalized luxury that integrates Eastern inner-science with Western technology, offering a range of wellness amenities and services aimed at achieving personalized peace and happiness.
Requirements: At least 4 years of related progressive experience; or a culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field. Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, and liquor laws and regulations. Long hours sometimes required. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner. Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
