About: Hotel Lucine, a unique and people-centric hospitality establishment in Galveston, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef plays a crucial role in running the kitchen in the absence of the executive chef, providing leadership in production, training, and maintaining kitchen organization.

Requirements: Have at least four years of general kitchen experience and two years of sous chef experience in similar caliber restaurants; consistently punctual and ready to work; possess a valid food manager’s certificate; promote cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards; strong knife skills and ability to prepare dishes to restaurant standards; ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a team environment; contribute to company culture, morale, and positive work environment; collaborate with the Chef on menu items and staff training
