Position: Sous Chef job
About: HMSHost is currently seeking a Sous Chef to join their team at Chicago Airport. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing a kitchen with complex operations, managing food production processes, and supervising kitchen staff under the direction of the Restaurant Chef. This is an exempt position that requires adherence to safety standards, menu planning, cost control, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements: High School diploma or GED required; 3-5 years of experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision; Serve Safe Management certification required; strong team management, delegation, issue resolution, and coaching skills; excellent organization and multi-project time management abilities; proficient in verbal and written communication
