Position: Sous Chef job
About: Roberts Hawaii is seeking a Sous Chef to join their Regency Culinary department. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee all aspects of the kitchen, menu planning, food quality, and staff management.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years high volume catering/banquet experience; Minimum 5 years management experience in food and beverage operation; High Volume restaurant experience; Stable work history with no more than two employers in the previous six years; Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills; Knowledge of food and hygiene regulations (HACCP); Ability to lead and mentor a team; Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications; Able to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends; Skilled in writing production lists, F&B proposals, and requisitions; Experience with purchasing, receiving, and inventory control; Upscale hotel catering experience a plus; Culinary apprenticeship or Certification course preferred; Financial understanding in food costs and waste minimization required
