Position: Sous Chef job
About: Located within steps of SunTrust Park in Atlanta, the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta is the official hotel of the Atlanta Braves. With 16 floors, 264 rooms including 28 suites, and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel caters to business travelers, vacationing families, and all in-between. The hotel offers an elevated pool deck, Lobby Bar, and hotel restaurant for a unique guest experience.
Requirements: Experience in high quality hotel or freestanding restaurant desirable; excellent communication skills both written and verbal; ability to solve problems in high-stress situations; excellent food technique and cultural knowledge; advanced butchery knowledge; ability to plan and execute projects and quantify results; ability to delegate work with proper instructions and follow-up; able to work standing on feet for at least 8 hours per day; able to lift and carry at least 30 pounds; must have color vision and depth perception for food preparation and presentation; ability to communicate effectively within a kitchen; Serve Safe certified food manager required
