Position: Sous Chef II, Hudson Yards
About: Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group at Hudson Yards in New York, known for its high-profile restaurant and catering operations at venues like Lincoln Center and The Metropolitan Opera, is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and leading the culinary team.
Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience with previous management responsibilities in a large production kitchen or high-volume food and beverage operation; exceptional skills in high-volume cooking and food presentation, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team; knowledge of best practices for monitoring food and labor cost, menu development, ordering, inventory, and food safety; proficient in Word and Excel; ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications; flexible schedule availability
