Position: SOUS CHEF I
About: Chartwells K12, a foodservice provider with a focus on serving K-12 students, is seeking a Sous Chef I to join their team at Wilton Schools in Wilton, CT. The company is dedicated to creating custom dining programs and ensuring students leave the cafeteria happier and healthier.
Requirements: Previous culinary experience with menus and forecasting, ordering, and inventory; 5 years of related culinary experience including 1 year at the management level; Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation; Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred; Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills; ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred
