Position: Sous Chef, Full-Time
About: Covenant Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Culinary Supervisor to oversee daily culinary operations and lead the production of daily specials while ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. The role involves collaborating with the Executive Chef in planning, ordering, and inventory management, and taking full responsibility for culinary operations in the Executive Chef’s absence. The Culinary Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining compliance with regulations, promoting a safe work environment, and ensuring top-notch food quality and service standards are met consistently.
Requirements: High school diploma; Culinary Arts Degree preferred; certification in sanitation and Safe Food Handling; 3+ years experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent in a high-volume restaurant; 5+ years of managing fast-paced kitchens; experience in fine dining environments and culinary leadership roles; proficiency in kitchen stations, cooking methods, inventory management, and staff supervision; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
