Position: SOUS CHEF (EXEMPT)
About: Watermark BR is a unique hotel part of the Marriott’s Autograph Collection, located in downtown Baton Rouge. Housed in a historic building that was originally the headquarters for Louisiana Trust & Savings Bank, the hotel features a classic design with elements of Art Deco and Greek Revival styles. The iconic structure overlooks the Mississippi River and boasts preserved murals by artist Angela Gregory, marble walls, a grand staircase leading to the original bank vaults, and a blend of 20’s to 60’s references with modern design.
Requirements: At least 4 years of related progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations
