Position: Sous Chef – Corsica

About: Corsica is an escapist small-plates restaurant inspired by the rustic coasts of France, Italy, and the namesake Mediterranean island that lies between them. The menu, led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Patrick Connolly, draws from the European coastal villages it is inspired by while celebrating local, seasonal ingredients. Corsica, born from the team behind Barcelona Wine Bar, will boast a compelling wine list that features Coastal European and Corsican wines. The cocktail program will focus on the effortlessly fun and delicious aperitivo, amaro, and spritz culture of the Mediterranean.

Requirements: Must understand the basis of food, labor, and cost controls; Dedicated to providing guests with amazing experiences with the highest degree of integrity; Desire to run a teaching kitchen – constantly challenging themselves and their team to be better; Solid tenure in a high volume kitchen; Ability to uphold standards and systems; At least 4 years of experience in a management level position within a restaurant, ideally a high volume kitchen.
