Position: Sous Chef – AC Hotel AC Hotel Worcester, MA
About: Claremont Companies, headquartered in Lakeshore Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, is a privately owned real estate investment and asset management firm with a portfolio of over 60 real estate assets including hotels, apartments, retail centers, and office buildings. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join their dynamic team at The Worcester AC, responsible for the flawless execution of Banquet and Event services at AC Hotel.
Requirements: 2+ years of food and beverage experience (hotel experience preferred); 2+ years of post-high school education, culinary education is desirable; SERV Safe certification required; proven track record in social corporate catering; strong knowledge of HACCP procedures and application; strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to remain calm and clearheaded under stressful situations; intermediate to advanced computer skills; willingness to work rotational work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
