Position: Sous Chef 3 (Ronald Reagan Hospital)
About: Our Ronald Reagan Hospital is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join the Department of Nutrition, responsible for all culinary support for patient care, retail, catering, and events. Primary duties include menu development, staff supervision, training, cost control, and sanitation oversight. Salary range: $28.30/hr – $54.74/hr.
Requirements: California Driver’s License (subject to DMV Pull); Active ServSafe certification; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in food preparation with 1 year of supervisory experience; Ability to read, write, and speak English; Skill in supervising food service personnel; Knowledge of culinary techniques and procedures; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to create diverse recipes and lead a team for Performance Improvement programs; Computer and mathematical skills; Adherence to policies by JCAHO, HACCP, University, and Hospital
