Position: Slot Operations Shift Manager
About: Wind Creek Chicago Southland, slated to open in Fall 2024, is an entertainment enthusiast’s dream destination offering an onsite hotel, dining, bars, event facilities, and more. The AAA Four Diamond Casino will be the first in Illinois and Northern Indiana, catering to the south Chicago suburbs with a diverse range of amenities.
Requirements: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field AND two (2) years Supervisory experience OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Management position OR Three (3) years’ experience in a Supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality required; Four (4) years’ experience in a Slots Supervisory position required; Minimum of two (2) years of casino gaming department experience required; Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license; Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Able to read and interpret documents; Resolve complex situations within the framework of MICS and WCH Expectation Guide; Possess the ability to calculate figures and amounts; Must successfully pass job interview; Able to follow instructions; Basic computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Must be able to walk for the duration of the shift and at times may have to bend, stoop and kneel; Willing and able to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, promotions and weekends; Willing and able to travel and participate in training as recommended or required; Must have an Occupational License or the ability to obtain and maintain a license pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act.
