Position: Senior Vice President of Inclusion and Accessibility
About: The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Senior Vice President of Inclusion and Accessibility for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Lauderdale). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing Visit Lauderdale’s global thought leadership and visionary status, focusing on inclusion and accessibility for the LGBT+ community and individuals with disabilities. This role requires strong marketing, communication, and leadership skills with experience in the travel and tourism industry.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business, marketing, hotel, restaurant, or tourism-related field; Minimum of 6 years of experience in hotel/tourism marketing or closely related field; Strong marketing and communication skills; Experience in developing and implementing strategies for attracting and engaging specific target audiences; Ability to lead and manage diverse teams; Experience in budget management and decision making; Strong presentation skills for national and international conferences; Ability to establish and maintain key relationships with stakeholders and organizations; Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
