Position: SENIOR SALES MANAGER
About: The Park Hyatt New York is seeking a competent Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in hotel group sales. The position involves managing accounts, generating business, and maximizing revenue by building relationships and identifying opportunities. The ideal candidate should display excellent customer service, negotiation, and communication skills.
Requirements: Minimum of 8 years prior hotel group sales experience is required; Upscale or luxury hotel experience is preferred; Exceptional prospecting and negotiation skills; Strong revenue management skills to create financially sound group sales proposals; Competitive spirit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a strong desire to exceed revenue goals/expectations; Excellent customer service skills; Seeks out and participates in available training opportunities; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; A strategic and dynamic thinker; Must be proficient in general computer knowledge; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business Management is preferred
