Position: Senior Patient Care Liaison
About: Provides outreach and referral services to increase volume of domestic and international patients, as well as executive health referrals. Coordinates patient referrals with clinical departments and donor services. Concierge Service is offered to UCSF donors, those with important relationships to UCSF, patients with complicated needs and their families. The Executive Health Practice is a small primary care internal medicine practice and the service is similar to a community concierge practice.
Requirements: Ability to produce an appropriate quantity of work in a timely, consistent manner. Skills to concentrate on monitoring the accuracy of work without getting bogged down in unnecessary detail; Demonstrates skills to teach patients through breaking down moderately complex concepts and policies in an understandable way. For example, explaining insurance policies or issues that may arise; Interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with patients, team members, and cross-functionally. Actively cooperates and supports the work of others to get a job done; Demonstrates the ability to apply reasoning skills to evaluate issues and identify potential solutions. Acquiring analytical abilities to weigh alternative solutions against objectives; Ability to perform all commonly applicable functions in word processing and spreadsheet software; Proficient in Apex to the scope of the job. Ability to register patients and check patients in for appointments.
