Position: Senior Manager of Kitchen Operations
About: Our client is a high-end bakery located in the Brooklyn area seeking a Manager/Senior Manager of Kitchen Operations responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the efficient production of food items, managing kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to the strategic growth of the culinary department. This role involves coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and optimizing kitchen processes to meet company objectives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience); minimum of 5 years of experience in kitchen management, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role; Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification; proven experience in managing a team, including recruitment, training, and performance management; excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality; strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in kitchen software and production management tools; ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
