Position: Senior Event Sous Chef
About: Abigail Kirsch, a premier catering company in New York City, is seeking a skilled Senior Event Sous Chef to join their team. The Off Premises Sr. Event Sous Chef will be responsible for quality control, consistency, efficiency, and utilization of food products at Abigail Kirsch Off-premise events, overseeing culinary staff and ensuring cost-effective operations. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication are essential for this role, working closely with the Executive Chef to uphold the company’s culture and standards.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in upscale off-premises catering, hotel, or multi-unit operations; strong leadership and financial management skills; detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication and team-building skills; proficiency in culinary fundamentals and kitchen equipment use; current Serve Safe Certificate & Allergen Training
