Position: Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Business Operations/CFO
About: Brown University Athletics and Recreation, located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, is seeking a Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Business Operations/CFO. The intercollegiate athletics program consists of 34 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes participating in the NCAA-D1.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience preferably in business, finance, or accounting; background in budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, and other business processes; strong communication skills (written and oral) and ability to effectively engage internal and external constituents; demonstrated organizational, analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills; strong management, decision-making, and prioritizing skills; ability to supervise, develop and evaluate personnel; extensive experience with Microsoft Office, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting systems; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-faceted work environment; ability to work with a diverse population and handle confidential information with discretion; knowledge of NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations, helpful.
