Position: Selling Director of Large Group Sales
About: Selling Director of Large Group Sales at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa. Functions as the leader of the property’s large group sales team’s sales efforts reporting to Vice President of Sales. Manages the property’s reactive and proactive sales efforts with the responsibility of achieving revenue goals and guest satisfaction. Implements brand’s service strategy and initiatives in sales process, providing leadership oversight to sales associates focusing on building luxury customer relationships.
Requirements: 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years’ experience in sales and marketing; or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years’ experience in the sales and marketing field; Luxury hotel group sales team supervision experience preferred; Marriott luxury brand experience preferred; Strong selling skills, customer and relationship management skills, ability to interpret sales reports and forecast revenues, effective decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills, ability to implement successful sales strategies, knowledge of hotel operations and software applications.
