Position: Secondary Food Service Manager
About: The Clark County School District (CCSD) is seeking a Secondary Food Service Manager to oversee the efficient operation of full preparation kitchens in CCSD secondary schools with a food service program. This role involves supervising the preparation and serving of meals for secondary school feeding programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and CCSD meal requirements. The manager will also handle administrative duties such as managing food service personnel, ordering supplies, and implementing safety measures.
Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent (General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.); Two (2) years of experience preparing and/or serving food in CCSD; Associate’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of institutional, commercial, and/or school district food service experience; Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card; Certification provided by CCSD Food Service Department; Current SNHD Food Handler Training Card; Manager Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServeSafe)
