Position: Seafood Processor / Fish Cutter
About: Samuels and Son Seafood, a leading purveyor of fresh and frozen seafood located in Orlando, FL, is offering a unique opportunity for individuals interested in learning the skill of cutting and preparing fresh fish to customer specifications in a fast-paced and growth-focused culture.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to learn to clean, bone, slice, scale, and filet multiple varieties of fresh fish; comfortable working in a refrigerated environment; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; adept at working independently and as part of a team; able to work under tight deadlines and follow safe work and sanitation standards; proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English; willingness to train in Philadelphia, PA plant for several weeks; prior experience in the back of the house or as a Food Prep in a restaurant is a plus
