Position: Sea Life Park Hawaii – Food & Beverage Team

Requirements: No education requirements for this role; Previous work experience is not required; Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) within 90 days of hire, if required by state and local guidelines; Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus; Must be at least 16 years of age to comply with Hawaii Child Labor Laws; Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Must have reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts; Ability to comply with all uniform policies; Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state and local food preparation and serving regulations; Must possess exceptional customer service skills; Ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner; Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction; Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently; Ability to use step stools, as needed; Ability to safely utilize knives and other food preparation equipment, as needed; Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday; Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders; Ability to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment; Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more; Working Conditions: Ability to work in various food stall and restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, variable temperatures, high noise levels, and heavily populated areas.
