Position: School Receptionist/Office Clerk
About: Chief Leschi Schools, formerly known as the Puyallup Tribal School, was founded in 1976 to address the high dropout rate of the youth of the Puyallup tribe. It is the largest of seven tribal schools in the state of Washington and one of approximately 200+ tribal schools in the United States. Chief Leschi Schools is also one of the largest tribal schools to be funded by the Bureau of Indian Education. The Secondary Receptionist/Office Clerk position is responsible for performing secretarial, record keeping, filing, and reception duties independently and in accordance with procedural guidelines.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; One-year clerical/receptionist experience which included regular customer service to the public; Experience and knowledge in word processing and proper use of office equipment is required; Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher software programs
