Position: SBN – Fleet Executive Chef

About: Seabourn, a luxury cruise line passionate about travel and enriching people’s lives through redemptive travel experiences, is seeking a Fleet Executive Chef to establish high-end food products within the Seabourn Fleet, develop menus, lead culinary projects, train onboard teams, and ensure compliance with all HESS processes. The culinary direction of the company is focused on luxury, relaxation, elegance, and sumptuous yet understated dining experiences, visiting both landmark cities and hidden gems worldwide.

Requirements: A relevant degree from an accredited culinary college or university, or a related field is preferred; Certification from an accredited advanced food safety program; 5+ years of experience in a supervisory position, preferably in a multi-nationality setting; 7+ years of experience in a 5 star+ hotel, cruise ship, or high-profile restaurant; Experience in high-volume operations of at least 1,000 meals per service; Ability to effectively read, write, and speak English; Proven ability to provide culinary supervision, training, and delegation of at least 50 culinary subordinates; Extensive kitchen machinery and knife safety knowledge; Working knowledge of computers and software programs; Visionary leadership; Strong communication skills; Team building and management skills; Decision-making ability; Problem-solving skills; Commitment to quality; Adaptability; Financial acumen; Ethical leadership
