About: A French cafe is seeking a skilled Saute cook to join their team and ensure the preparation of authentic and traditional French food in accordance with high standards of quality and safety to meet guest expectations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining food quality, temperature standards, and adherence to food safety guidelines in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to stand, work, and move throughout the shift with frequent bending and stooping; capable of lifting and carrying sacks and cases weighing up to 30 lbs multiple times per shift; familiarity with various kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, soup kettles, and coffee machines; good communication skills in noisy environments; successful completion of recipe and food quality assessments
